What is "municipal inhabitant tax"? Yesterday I received an important envelope from the local
government. It was about the tax that all the citizens who live in the city have to pay for the
government. Why do they take so much money from the people who are not very rich? What do
they use the big sum of money for? In my case I usually pay sales tax, income tax. Income tax?
Yes, pension is regarded as income. It has to be the rest of money that we payed for the income
we received while we were working. They take and take and they're not going to give us anything.
I became 65 years old this March and quit my job the next month. At present I get no income by
working daily. The sum of money written on a piece of paper in the envelope was about \300,000
this year which is divided into 4 terms. This April I started to pay for my health insurance which
would be about \400,000 yearly. I have no income excluding pension, but I've got to pay a lot. Is
this a fair financial system for old people like me? Complaining is all what I can do for this.


Again they had an emergency call to ask for a rescue mission. It was a little boy and he was so
shy. However the adult dogs wandering around him were very friendly. They came up to the rescue
people. It seemed that they were no afraid of cars running by. It was a very dangerous situation.
　They gave him some dogfood, then he ate it up soon. He was so starving. They hurriedly took him
back to the vet, and he looked very fine. When he came home, he hated taking a warm bath at first.
But they made it for the second time. He had two other companies and they were all for adoption.
　I've got to say sorry if it might be the second time for you to see this video. However he's such a
cute boy, so I'd like you to enjoy watching him and his friends in the video. Bye for now.

How often a week do you go shopping? I go shopping almost every day, because I don't buy a lot
for just one day. But I think the prices of food and drinks have been going up every day. This
morning I wrote about the daily expenditure. We pay and pay for any kind of things, and when we
really realize the situation, it's too late and we don't have much money left for the living.
　I doubt many food and drinks companies and shop keepers pretend not to be able to gain profit.
And they keep increasing the prices of their goods. At first prices for only limited kinds of goods
went higher, but later many of other goods became very expensive. Today a lot of vegetables we need
to take every day are getting more and more expensive. Does the government want us people to die
without good food and drinks? Or aren't they interested in basic food in the supermarkets? Because
they can go out for rich dinner at any time they want using our important tax.


Did I show this video to you before? I'm sorry that I used lots of videos and forgot which one
I introduced on my webpage. And I wonder why they gave the little girl food and water before
they started driving back home. She must have been starving and thirsty. She was lucky enough
to be found any trouble with her health. She went home after that and took a warm bath. She was
very dirty with sand and dust in her fur, so it took her a long time to be cleaned up. Then she ate
her first proper dinner, but she didn't need a playtime, maybe because she had a very long drive
during the day. By the way, she looks like a panda, doesn't she? She's so cute and attractive.



A good man called the rescuer about a tiny abandoned dog near his house. The rescuer drove
to the site in a hurry with his baby sleeping in the car. He was a really tiny dog who has to be
taken good care of. Maybe he was both hungry and thirsty. So he was frightened driving home in
the car. When he arrived at the vet, he saw a bigger dog, but he couldn't come close to the new
friend. After he came home and took a shower, he suddenly became very playful. It seemed that
he loved his new family. Hope he's going to find a happy family to live with. God bless him!

What a terrible game the Angels lost against the Kansas City Royals. Until when Shohei Ohtani
hit his 23rd homerun, the Angels was leading the game by 8-2. How could they lose the important
game in the end? They lost the easy game after the victory seemed certain. The TV reporter said
that the Angels had been said not to win the game on Saturdays. It was true indeed.
　The Angels are notorious for their very few good relief pitchers, but recently they have been
getting better. However this morning their weakness about the pitchers has been revealed. I'm
very sorry for today's 27-year-old starting pitcher Griffin Canning who has won as many as five
games so far. Shohei Ohtani also had a very hard time winning his 6th game after a long, long month.

　Now I have recognized the difficulty of baseball. Especially in the Major League Baseball, most of
the players are tough and powerful, and they struggle so harshly to win a close game. In today's game
lots of fine performances were seen for both the Angels and the Royals. I'm so glad that no one has
been injured this morning. I'm not going to blame the Angels for losing a game which looked easy.
Anyway I'd like to send a happy message to Shohei. "Congratulations on your great 23rd homerun!"



The lonely little boy was caught soon and gradually he adapted himself in the car. The rescuer
didn't know if he was an abandoned dog or just a stray dog. Anyway he must have been very lonely
without any siblings or parents. When they visited the vet clinic, the doctor found that the puppy
had parasites in his tummy. He needed to give him a special concoction (mixed medication) for that.
Also he had to get rid of many fleas with his body, which was of course fixable.
　When he gets well, they're going to find a new home for him. We hope he'll have a happy time there
with his new family. He can say goodbye to his lonely life. You can't live a happy life alone.



This is a German Shepard puppy of about 3 months old. He's so smart and learns lots of
things quickly. At the beginning of the video, the rescuer told us that he had some trouble in
his stomach. So after drinking some water, they hurriedly visited the vet clinic. The doctor gave
them some medications which would help the little boy get better soon. He's going to become a
very big dog, so I think it's a good idea to find some good people to adopt him ASAP. Good luck!



She lived in a very dangerous area with a lot of trains going fast. So the rescuer was right in
saving her ASAP. The man went to the site on a motorbike and the little girl went inside his jaket
and enjoyed riding on a motorbike. She was all healthy and came home to have a proper dinner
and take a warm bath, because she was very dirty and smelly till she was cleaned up well. At first
he thought she was a calm, quiet girl, but later he knew he was wrong. He became more and more
playful and she never stopped wagging her tail. She wanted to play a lot. She was an active girl.

This morning I watched the last game between the Angels and the Royals. At last the Angels
won the game by 5-2. Three of the players on the Angels hit homeruns, Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout,
and Jared Walsh. Shohei hit his 24th homerun, making him the homerun king of the American
League. It's an incredible job for even a pro baseball player to hit a homerun every day. He's great!
　This afternoon my parents-in-law living in Tsurugadai Housing Complex and I are planning to visit
the Hakuhoji Temple to pray for Hana and Ryoma. Today's Ryoma's death anniversary which reminds
us of a lot of photos from Ryoma's memories. He was really a good boy loved by many people.



He was a very sociable dog and he soon made friends with other dogs he met for the first time.
In that sense he was quite different than me who's not very friendly to other people. It was not that
I didn't like to make lots of friends, but I just couldn't trust other people around me.
　I named him Ryoma after the Edo's samurai Ryoma Sakamoto. He loved to travel across the vast
ocean. Ryoma didn't like to swim in the sea, but he liked watching the vast ocean just like Ryoma
Sakamoto who wanted to change the old Japanese system of life. For me Ryoma was as enormous
as the old samurai in the Edo Period. Ryoma loved lots of women just like Ryoma Sakamoto. They're
like each other, which seemed very interesting to me. The little girl dog in the photo in the left liked
Ryoma very much, although they had never seen each other before.

　I think dogs should live much longer than now, because they make a lot of people, young and old,
happy with their special healing power. If they live up to 20 years old, it's like a miracle. Actually
Ryoma passed away at the age of 15 years and 4 months. We wanted him to be healthy and live much
longer than he actually did. However it's true he still lives in our memories and in my homepage.
Ryoma's photos give us enough energy to live a happy life. I wish he's living happily with his friends
in the green field at the foot of the so-called "Rainbow Bridge" and someday we'll see one another
again in the heaven. Then we'll be able to live happy lives forever. Just wait for us there, Ryoma.

　I didn't notice that today was just a weekday. Toward the evening I started to hear the voices
from the school ground. They're doing their club activities and it's almost time to leave school for
home. We often call today "blue Monday," because it's just the starting day for a long new week.
They have to wait for four more days until the next weekend comes. Don't worry. Everyday is a
holiday for me. I can do a lot of things I like until the bedtime comes. And then I'm going to bed
so that I might be able to get up early enough for the MLB game the next morning.

One day three puppies stopped a car along the road. The driver was a woman and she took
them to the vet immediately. One of them had a hernia, but others were quite healthy. The vet
gave them medications to get rid of parasites, worms, and fleas. All of them were boys and about
three months old. They were very friendly and never stopped wagging their tails. "These helpless
dogs should be rescued," she thinks. We human beings can abandon little dogs and rescue them
at the same time. How do you feel if you were a little dog and abandoned in a countryside?

　Then she took all of them back home and they took a warm shower in the bathroom. They looked
so refreshed and had a good appetite to eat all the food in the bowls. She named them Wolly,
Casper, and Jerry. She had an old female dog at home. Her name was Stacy who was also rescued
by the woman. Stacy was just like a nanny (nursing grandma) for them. The woman put some of their
photos on the Internet for adoption. Soon all the three angels got adopted by good families. They
soon got used to lives at their new homes. I think little puppies are so strong that they can soon
make friends with the creatures around them. I wish every one of them lots of good luck and forever
happiness. Yesterday I finished editing my dog's website. He passed away 4 years ago yesterday.
Every time I saw him in the photos on the webpages, I really hoped I would be able to see him again
in the green field at the foot of "Rainbow Bridge" toward the heaven. See you then, Ryoma.



【Updated Information】The 48th have passed and he is alive. He is recovering slowly, but is as
stable as he can be. We arre monitoring him closely every day and hopefully he will recover within
the next 2 weeks. WE will keep you updated here on how he is and on our community tab.

　Maybe both you and I want to know the results of his fate. Did he fainally make it or not? According
to the information above, This video was edited in October, 2022, so we don't know what happened
to him in the end. When the rescuer found him at the corner of an abandoned house, he didn't seem
to have a strong will to live. However while he was being treated at the emergency vet clinic, he could
understand the everybody around him was trying to help his life. I hope he should have made it after
a long medical support. Really hope that he completely recovered and got adopted by a good family.




I've been looking for the photos of the Angels when they had a game with the Royals. Three major
members of the team hit homeruns. The 24th 2-run homer by Shohei Ohtani, the 15th solo homer by
Mike Trout, and lastly commemorable 1st solo homer by Jared Walsh. Especially Walsh had been sick
in the Injured List for a long time. So his teammates must have been so happy to see his amazing homer.
Trout is a great slugger, but he's been in bad condition for a month or two. That's why Ohtani was waiting
for him to come back to the homebase smiling with the famous soldier's helmet in his hands. "You made
it!" He may have said so, but Trout just looked embarrassed with a happy smile. Now you know why I
wanted to get these photos on the day when the game was played. It was yesterday, June 19, 2023.



A little sister and a brother were abandoned at a dumpsite. Maybe they tried to protect
themselves, but the brother didn't make it. They were staying by a big garbage box. She might
have smelled rotten food. When she first saw the rescue people, she was scared and wanted to
hide under the garbage box. After that they all said proper goodbye to the dead brother and drove
back to the vet clinic. Her health was OK. So they brought her back home, where the very friendly
company, Arra, was waiting for the new little friend. After taking a warm bath, she ate a proper dinner.
At first she didn't eat a bit, but soon she got used to usual dogfood and started devouring the meal.



After a few hours of driving, they found a little puppy who was drinking dirty water from the
puddle. He must have been so thirsty that he also drank some pure mineral water in the car. He
was starving too, so he was crazy about eating food in the car. After they came home, he had to
take a warm bath and get shampooed very well, because he had to get rid of fleas and ticks as well.
The next day they took him to the vet clinic and they knew he didn't have any medical problems.
Before visiting the vet, he had some playtime to play with his new friends. He's such a good boy.

This morning I measured the fasting blood sugar level, which was 162mg/dl. Recently my blood
sugar level was rather low. Maybe it's because of the amount of food I ate yesterday afternoon. I
felt so hungry that I ate lunch twice if I remember correctly. I was surprised at the blood sugar level
I measured late in the afternoon. It was 314mg/dl maybe because of the delicious ramen I ate for
my first lunch. I shouldn't relax my guard easily after thinking of the good results so far.

I remember the poor little dog I saw in the video yesterday. He was drinking from a dirty puddle.
How can we leave stray puppies in a bad condition without any food or water. How can they keep
living without any adult dogs or rescuing people who are happy to take care of the angels in need.
　If they drink dirty water from puddles on the ground, they could easily invite parasites into their
weak bodies. Or if they don't have good food, they have to eat something rotten they find while
wandering around the dump site. It's quite easy for those poor puppies to get sick and die miserable
deaths. What an unfair world we live in! We human beings can drink pure water whenever we want
and go to the McDonald's to buy some hamburgers we don't need to eat.



He was lucky that he was found when he was about 40 days old. If he became older, say a few
months old, he might have become sick and had less chances to live. When the car started toward
home, he gradually got relaxed, which made the rescuer happy. When they returned home, the little
puppy was surprised to find a new friend Tim there. They were both playful and got friends with
each other soon. Now it was time to go to the vet at night. But it wasn't easy for them to leave home,
because they really loved playing together. The rescuer had to wait for their playtime to finish.
　After all the checks, the doctor found that he was in good health. He's a cute white dog, so I guess
he'll soon be able to find a good family. I'd like him to have a happy life with the new family.



How was he able to keep on living alone by the side of the river. He was lucky not to fall into
the river and get drowned. He was very small and looked weak, so the rescuer hurriedly drove him
back home. After taking a shower, the man tried to let him drink some water and milk, but the boy
didn't want to have anything to eat and drink. He soon took him to the vet, who found that the boy
had animal coronavirus. The rescuer was very worried about him, but the little boy had to be
hospitalized for some time. We'll know his medical results sooner or later. Good luck, Cute Boy!



His eyes look very much like "Yumenosuke" in Japan who was about to be killed in the
so-called "dreambox." He was very afraid, because he knew he would soon be euthanized.
He had lost every hope, so he looked so sad. The little boy in this video had the same eyes.
He didn't have any hope. That's why he didn't try to eat food or drink water. Unluckily on that
night, there was an emergency operation at the vet clinic. The man who rescued the little boy
decided that he would take him to the vet the next day. Even after taking a bath and getting
refreshed, he was not going to eat or drink anything. Maybe he was still afraid of human beings
and was too nervous to eat or drink. I hope he'll feel safe soon and start to live a healthier life.

Yumenosuke was left alone in the cold cage, waiting for his turn to be euthanized. Once they
are packed into the dreambox, they are to breathe in CO2 gas that will kill all of them quietly.
They say the dogs are going to die in peace, but actually they have a hard time until they go to
heaven. Do you think we have the right to kill stray dogs and cats? Just because we can't take
care of them financially? Though we have plenty of time to play, food to eat, water to drink, we
don't have enough money to let them live happy lives? Who are we? What are they here for?
　Even in our country, there are not a few people who have to eat bad food and drink dirty water.
We know they're there, but we're only interested in our own lives. Don't we have to take good care
of stray animals wandering in the city? I'm really sorry for them. I'm also sorry for myself just
because I don't know what to do to save them. Will I be happy in the heaven after death?

It's just 9:00 in the morning. Last night I woke up many times and around 3:00 I got out of bed
and suddenly started working on my homepage. Of course I stopped doing it in about an hour.
　Now I'm completely out of bed and I'm working on the computer. I'm still a little sleepy, though.
When did I find the web-ranking site? It sometimes was a troublemaker to sign up for the site and
put the banner link on the index page of my website. I tried a few times and finally got out of the
site. I registered my information at the site, but this time I can't find my website on its list. I guess
it might have some tricks in the system. If I do anything more about it, I could be in trouble again.



At first when they got to the informed site, it was after all the other adult dogs had been
dispersed by the local people. They called the rescuers and asked them to help the little dog
who was about to be attacked by big dogs. Are there bullies among stray dogs? First the boy
panicked and didn't know what to do. He didn't even trust the rescuers and refused to calm down.
But gradually he stopped screaming and started to fall into sleep in the car.
　After that they all came home and the little boy took a warm bath. He really loved the warm
water. And another thing, the friendly pet dog Arra was waiting for them to be back. After taking
a bath, they took him to the vet clinic, where the doctor found no problems about his health. Of
course he came home and had a proper dinner from the woman. He loved cuddles so much.

When I was a little boy, there were some friends who had been bullied with no certain reasons.
I was sometimes one of them and didn't feel sorry for the bullied boy. Now is the miserable time
when there are so many helpless kids who are constantly bullied by other children around them.
Some of the bullied kids will decide to kill themselves. It must have been so scary that they think
they have to kill themselves in order to be freed from bullying. It's awful to think of committing
suicide. I don't think it's easy to think of jumping off the roof of the school building.

　Now I was a school teacher for about 40 years and know what I should do to deal with the bulies.
If the victim was my son or daughter, I would rush to the teachers' room and try hard to help my
child. How come most of the school teachers couldn't do the same thing? They should know about
the bullies well and try to plan the effective ways to help the bullied kids. They can write about the
bullying in their letters to their friends or teachers. They could possibly talk about their bullies.
They're quite different from little stray dogs who can't tell us who bullied them or how. When I look
at the screaming dog who doesn't know how to escape from the sad situation. All what they can do
is just scream for help. And all we can do is just try to understand their situation and help them.



　Dogs are the same as human children. If they're sure that somebody's taking good care of them,
they can feel safe and have a happy life. If the parents and the school teachers are trying to watch
them, they understand that they're in a very safe situation and no one's going to hurt them.



It was very thoughtful of the rescue team to go a long way to the site in distress. It was a
little girl they found in the dangerous woods. She was so scared, but after eating some food,
she became calm. They all came back home, and she took a warm shower because she had a
lot of fleas in the fur. Now that she was all clean, the rescuer wanted to give her a proper dinner
and some water. However she didn't want to drink any water. I was afraid that something was
wrong with her health. The next day they went to the vet clinic and found that she was completely
healthy although she still had a lot of fleas around her body. I'm very happy to know that she's
in good health and that she's now looking for a new good family to live with.



This morning the Angels lost the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers by the score of 0-2.
Shohei Ohtani allowed one of them to hit a home run. And the 35-year-old relief pitcher Aaron Loup
allowed another home run. Shohei struck 12 batters out, which never helped him become a winning
pitcher. This situation is called "naoe" in Japanese. It means "Shohei did a great job, but still the
Angels couldn't let him win." He was trying to win his 7th game, but no one helped him.
　Today Shohei really did a great job. He struck 12 batters on the Dodgers, which made a new record.
But especially when Shohei is doing a great job, his teammates don't make many hits and help him
become a winning pitcher. I think if he can make more than 10 winning games, he's so great and he
should move to a different team after that. Whether he becomes a MVP again this season or not,
that's not a big problem because he's leaving his favorite team Angels. Good luck, Shohei.

This morning my blood sugar level was a little too high. I don't know why, but it's possible that
I forgot to get an insulin injection last night. Insulin injections are very important to me, so every
day I check if I got them correctly. I watched the checking sheet and found that I got an insulin
shot last night. When I correctly get an insulin shot, I usually circle the letter with a red pen. Around
11 o'clock last night, I measured my blood sugar lever. It was 125mg/dL, which was rather low. I
didn't go to an all-you-can-eat Yakiniku restaurant last night. I'm telling the truth.

Recently I often get strange emails that ask for the renewal of my personal information. I don't
trust them, but what do they do that for? Could they gain anything beneficial by doing that? I heard
it's quite dangerous for me to just open the mails. You could get into trouble by working on the
computer. We live in a very scary age, right? Do you think I'm making a lot of money by opening my
homepage to the public. I just like to edit my homepage because it's something I'm interested in.



She was all alone in a deserted area where only a lot of stray cats lived. Something seemed
to be wrong with her right eys, so the rescuer hurried to the vet clinic. The doctor took care of
her eye first very carefully and noticed that her eye was OK. After the vet they came home, and
then Arra was waiting for the new tiny guest. Arra was very curious. Maybe she thought she was
her baby sister. Then the little angel took a warm bath. She really liked water and got refreshed
after the bath time. Then of course a proper dinner was waiting for the little girl. It seemed that
she didn't eat anything all day that day, so she ate up a lot very quickly. This is a video they shot
7 months ago. Maybe now she's already found a new good family to live with.



She was lucky to be found by human girls and placed in a cardboard box until the rescuer
came. When the rescuer arrived, she said goodbye to the two girls and ate some dogfood and
started heading home. Soon she went to see the vet and there the doctor announced that she
was completely healthy. In order to say "Thank you." to the vet, she decided to poo on the floor
of the hospital. They hurriedly left the clinic and went home. She had to take a warm bath first,
and after that she had a proper dinner. She needed a new home to live in. Good luck.



I'm also happy to know that there are good people who would like to give food and water to
the stray puppy and sheltered him until the rescuer arrives and takes him home. He is a beautiful
white boy who likes to stay around people. Maybe he was a yard dog. But there are other people
who are very cruel and think little of abandoning those poor puppies. They're not going to kill
them by giving no food or water, but throwing them away is just like taking their lives.
　Now he came back to the vet clinic. Everything was OK about his health. After leaving the clinic
they came back home. He took a warm bath first, and then had a proper dinner. However he didn't
want to drink much water, which made me worry about his health. But the doctor was sure that
the boy was completely OK. How can I deny his conclusion? Now he needs a new home to live in.

Before going shopping at the supermarket and the drugstore, I stopped by at the convenience
store to pay both municipal and prefectural in habitant tax which was near \80,000. It was a shocking
sum of money to pay to Chigasaki City and Kanagawa Prefecture, because it was just one fourth of
the yearly payment. The sum of money was decided based on my last year's income. I was a usual
school teacher and earned a lot of money. That's why I'm having a hard time this year.
　Anyway what you have to pay, you have to pay. Don't worry. I have to keep on walking slowly for
a better life that I'd like to expect in the future. Even though you're not young already, you can't
give up your hope and dreams. Saying is just one thing, putting it into practice is quite another.

"He lost his mom." What does it mean? She was killed in a car accident or so? Anyway now
that he didn't have his mom near him, he needed an urgent help. First the rescuer tried to let him
drink some water, but he wasn't thirsty. But he really wanted something to eat. He was starving.
　When they came back to their hometown, they soon went to the vet clinic. The rescuer noticed
that there was something wrong with his left eye, but according to the doctor, the injured eye will
soon be recovered. After leaving the clinic, the little boy took a warm bath. Then of course, it was
a special dinner time. He must have been very happy to find a new friend in the apartment. Yes,
it was Arra who would welcome every guest who was coming home. Now the little boy is looking
for a new adopting family. He had lost his mom, then what he needs next is a good family to love
and take good care of him. What stray dogs need is food and water, and of course more love.



There was a place where some bad people tend to treat stray puppies cruelly. In todays video
a stray girl dog was caught in a cage without any food or water by her. The rescuer gave her some
dogfood and water and started coming back home. The first stop was the vet clinic. She was still
quite dirty and dusty, but the doctor kindly held her up and did everything to check her health.
Because she was OK, the rescuer took her back home and let her take a warm shower. Now she
was cleaned up, so she had the right to enjoy a proper dinner. After that she enjoyed playtime.
Soon she made friends with other puppies who belonged to Paw Squadron. Be happy, guys!

The same misery happened to the Angels again. Thanks to Ohtani's and Trout's home runs, the
Angel's was leading the Rockies with 4-2. But at the bottom of the 8th inning, the relief pitcher
allowed the Rockies batter to hit a grand-slam homer. Finally they won the game by 7-4. It's quite
incredible, isn't it? It was said that when both Ohtani and Trout hit home runs, the Angels would
never lose the game. the myth turned out to be false at last. Japanese MLB fans complains about
the Angels' losing many games after the victory seemed to be certain. The phenomenon was named
"naoe" by lots of Angels' fans. "Nao" means "still," and "e" means the Angels. It means that
even when the Angels are sure to win, they still have possibility to lose at the very end
of the game.Today Ohtani hit his 25th homer and Trout his 16th. How could they lose the game?
I can scream "Incredible!" thousands of times. Can I cry out one more time? "Incredible!"

　Now I believe that the Angels are not going on to the post season, but the only thing I wish is that
Shohei Ohtani does a surprising job and he'll be able to start playing for a strong team like the Dodgers.
Most of the Dodgers' fans will welcome Ohtani and he'll have a happy baseball life there.

I'm now out of bed again. I don't know why, but maybe I need to sleep in an air-conditioned
room. However I know I shouldn't use too much air-conditioner if I want to be in good health.
But now I've turned on the air-conditioner, although it might be against an economic way of life.
　Or isn't it smart of me to set the time to turn off the air-conditioner? A few hours of cool air
coming out of the device is good enough? Well, let's try that for tonight. It's 23:44 now and I'm
setting the turn-off time at 2:30. Am I catching cold if I put it into practice?



This might be a rare case, because she already has her name. She's Bella, a few-month-old girl
near the dangerous railway. Three good boys found her and kept her warm inside a boy's jacket.
The rescuer soog let her get into the car, where she found two other companies, Hansel and Gretel,
who were rescued by the same man recently. They became good friends with each other soon and
came back home together. Before taking a warm bath, she went to visit the vet clinic. The doctor
found that she was in completely good health. Now that they were at home and she took a warm
bath first. She liked the warm water and enjoyed being shampooed. After that, of course, it was
time for all of them to have dinner together. They looked like brother and sisters. We were happy too.



Who has been so cruel to do all of this? So many babies were abandoned in a plastic basket.
Anyway they had to be rescued and taken to the vet clinic. Before that the rescuer had to feed
them with some special milk which was made according to a vet's direction. It was not an easy
job to give them milk every three hours. But because they were all very hungry, they looked so
happy wagging their tails. After they were taken to the vet in town and he decided they were all
very healthy, the rescuer took all of them home and let them take a warm shower. Thanks to a
good Samaritan's urgent call to the rescue team, they could look for good families for them. We
all hope that good adoping families will be found soon. Please God bless them all.



When the rescue team arrived at the site after getting an emergency call, they saw a group of
3 puppies who were playing around in a large field. They soon gave them some food and water and
took them back home ASAP. First of all they went to see the vet who smiled at them and did every
possible medical checks. Then they were found to be in good health, so they came home in a case.
The three of them took a warm bath together and they were cleaned up now. They were now ready
for a special family dinner. They had been so hungry to clean the bowls. Now it's time for the rescue
team to look for a new family for each of them which will surely give them happiness and good luck.

This evening before I went shopping at a nearby supermarket, I enjoyed walking along the so-called
"Ginko Road" after a long time. It's a road stretching from the front gate to Tsurumine High School
to the bus street at the other end. There have been a lot of hydrangeas planted along the road, which
have been surprisingly beautiful with various colors. This rainy season most of them have pale-blue
or pale-purple flowers. Walking along the road, I remembered the days when Ryoma and I took time
walking along the road together. I can't believe that he's not here with me any more.




　Ryoma in the lower photos were shot when he was about 9 years old. And I can tell it's not the
rainy season, because there aren't any hydrangeas along the Ginko Road. I'm so happy to see him
standing as a young dog full of energy. Do you see I was standing in different directions in the two
photos? In the lower left I was facing the front gate of the school building, and in the lower right I
was facing the bus street. It was a very beautiful day with clear blue skies.

　Ryoma had a lot of friends in the neighborhood. They didn't have to live near my house, because
it was a piece of cake for Ryoma to make friends with other dogs at the first sight. Are you happy
now playing with friends at the foot of the so-called Rainbow Bridge, Ryoma? Is Hana with you?
I hope someday we'll meet again in the happy field and together cross the bridge to the heaven.

Time flies, doesn't it? We're soon having the next month July. It means that the Star Festival is
just around the corner. Are you going to take part in the festival in Hiratsuka City this year? When
I was a boy, I used to visit the festival and enjoyed eating delicious food at the street stalls. I haven't
been there for a long time, but I hear the festival itself has become smaller in scale. Ages fly too.

　Tonight I was really happy to see Ryoma in good shape. Ryoma in my memory takes a walk very
slowly and looks a little tired and sick. So the very young Ryoma in the photos above really makes
me surprisingly happy. Now I've realized that we should take as many photos as possible to imprint
good scenes in our memories. When you miss them, you just have to look at their photos.

Yesterday I walked along the Ginko Road for about 30 minutes, which made me more refreshed
than I had expected I would be. When I see the beautiful hydrangeas along the road, a lot of memories
about Ryoma came clearly back to me. I know it's very important for those who have diabetes to
walk for about half an hour. Am I going to walk around the same place this evening? It's about time
to miss the hydrangeas along the road. I think I'll have to go there to see them again.

This morning the Angels fought a game against the Rockies. The game started at a few minutes
past 4 o'clock, so I woke up just before 5 o'clock and began to work on my homepage. Finally the
Angels lost the game by the score of 3-4. What a miserable game they had! When a lot of them make
many hits like yesterday, Ohtani is as silent as a rabit in the snow. Like today when Ohtani make hits
for the team, his teammates are not going to do good jobs. How come? I'm sorry for the starting
pitcher today. It was Tyler Anderson (33 years old). Of course the basic mistakes were some walks
he gave to the Rockies during the first half of the game. No good batters, no good pitchers, that's
what the Angels are. I've got to say that it's not worth cheering for them. Why was I watching TV?

Today's the garbage day when I have to take the plastic bag filled with burnable refuse to the
garbage site. I usually use a larger bag, but today a smaller bag was good enough for all the garbage.
When I was coming home, I suddenly thought of visiting Yoshinoya to eat gyudon for breakfast. But
I changed my mind, because I did some shopping yesterday evening. It could be a waste of money.

Not to change the subject, Ryoma had lots and lots of friends when he was still young. Especially
a mongrel girl (a dog with mixed blood) named Kanana was one of his best friends. She was such a
calm and gentle dog Ryoma liked to play with so much. Ryoma liked female dogs of bigger sizes.




From upper left to lower right, Eve, Vel, Apolo, Hiro (Shiba dog), Lemon, and Kahana. They're
just a few of Ryoma's favorite friends. I always wondered why he was so friendly to everybody
around him. He was quite different from me. I've always been shy and had only a few friends.

This evening when the sun was bright in the sky, I started taking a walk alons the Ginko Road
as I did yesterday. Maybe I only took 20 minutes or so to finish going for a walk. The hydrangeas
along the road were still beautiful. They'll still be in full bloom in about a week. When we think of
flowers in town, the rainy season is a little bit too sad without many flowers.

　Ryoma goes very well with sunflowers in the summer. It's not that he loved watching the flowers,
because he didn't have any chances to play with sunflowers. So I thought it was a good idea to
buy artificial sunflowers to put on the table. He must be smiling brightly like yellow sunflowers.

Why is it so humid this morning? Do I have to turn on the air-conditioner this early in the
morning? I'm worried about the electrical charges for June and July. Also August? The air itself
is a little bit cool, but it contains much moisture. Do you have a good appetite every morning?
This morning I don't want to eat a lot for breakfast, but I have to in order to take my fixed medicine.
Can you guess how much medicine I have to take every day? How many shots I have to get?

When I quit the teaching job, I said to one of my ex-students, "I'm already 65 years old when
I naturally retire." Then she said, "You're still too young to talk like that. After taking a good rest
you can think of working somewhere else." She always encouraged me when I was in trouble.
I was one of her favorite teachers in Chigasaki City. After she got married, she moved to Yokohama.
Her son was on the school's tennis team and was bullied by some other members. Even when
she talked to the coach about her son's bullies, he didn't do anything efficient. Soon I called the
board of education and complained about her son's school. Although usual people tend to blame
school teachers for not doing anything about the bullies, they happen everywhere before they are
solved. Some children in those incidents have chosen to kill themselves but teachers concerned
are not going to do anything about the miserable results. School teachers are like that.

We still have nearly an hour until the MLB game between the Angels and the White Sox from
Chicago. The great slugger who has hit 21 home runs so far is on the team. His name is Luis
Robert Jr. (25) from Cuba. For reference Trout on the Angels has hit 17 home runs now. Do you
know how many homers Shohei Ohtani has hit so far? Yes, 25! Everybody is looking forward to
seeing his 26th homer in today's game. Me too. How many RBI's has he got so far? 61. Of course
he's the leader. We'll see in about half an hour. Many people concerning professional baseball say
that Shohei Ohtani is an exceptional surprising guy that nobody can follow in the world
　Luis did a great job on top of the 1st inning. He hit his 22nd home run against the Angels. On the
other hand, both Trout and Ohtani got strike-outs. So now the White Sox leads by 1-0.



This is "Christmas Eve" written and sung by Tatsuro Yamashita. A lot of videos were shot
using this song at the back. Most of the videos were produced by JR Tokai East. Lots of
actresses became famous after they appeared in those videos. Suzu Hirose showed up in the
promotion video for the song. She's so cute that she's got so many fans throughout Japan.
Not a few girls would wish if they were born such cute girls like Suzu. Everybody knows that
personality is more important than appearance, but Suzu became very popular because she
was such a cute girl. I've been to her movie "Cheer☆Dan," which impressed me so much.

I walked along the "Ginko Road" for about twenty minutes. On my way back home, I dropped
in at the usual supermarket to buy something to use for "mizutaki (nabe)." This is not a proper
season for eating "mizutaki," but it's sometimes good for your health to eat something hot in a
hot season like this. During my walk I took a beautiful pictures of a strange kind of hydrangea
called "Annabelle Hydrangea." Its flowers are so pure and are as white as snow in winter.



I don't think Annabelle doesn't go very well with winter food mizutaki. I felt that usual blue hydrangeas
wouldn't live as long as pure white Annabelle. Anyway it's nearly the end of the rainy season.

It's 1:34 in the morning. Almost every day I tend to wake up a few times during the night. Of
course I need to go to the bathroom. When you have diabetes, you often want to go to the bathroom.
You can't help it. I've set the timer for 2:50, so I think I've got to reset it for a later time. Maybe 3:30
or so. I set the temperature for 26 degrees Celcius. 25 degrees Celcius is a little too low. It might
make your body too cool and you could catch cold. A summer cold will be a big problem of yours.
Maybe using a cool mat would be a wise idea, because you just have to cool your head when you
try to go to sleep, not all of your body. Cooling your head will never give you a summer cold.

When I became a school teacher, I was just a thin man who weighed only 52 kilos. But I gradually
gained weight, and when I was in the middle of my 30's, I weighed as many as 86 kilos, who looked
like a very unhealthy guy. When you gain weight rapidly, you might possibly have diabetes. That's
what happened to me. Now I'm gradually losing weight and I weigh only 67 kilos at present. If I
lose 15 more kilos, I would be able to go back to my younger days. When I was young, I liked to
do exercises, so I never got overweight. However as I got older, I was like a overweight guy. I'm
not very tall, so I should have worried about my feature, which I didn't do.

　Now that I have diabetes, I think of my health seriously. But it's true that it's too late when you
think of your health seriously. Just walking about half an hour every day is not good enough. I know
that, but I can't start playing tennis suddenly now. When I was about 25 years old, I made it a rule
to play tennis with the members of my tennis team. I was a coach, but I knew I had to do exercises
with my students. That's why I was a slim English teacher who was very popular among students.
I wish I could have known what kind of a guy I would look like in the future. Is it too late? Yes, it's
too late and very funny. I'm 65 years old now, and it's not easy to lose weight, but I'll have to try.



Now she's been named Beauty and is ready to be adopted by someone good when she gets
better. When she was found and taken to the vet, the doctor noticed a rash and mange. She slso
had some trouble with her stomach, which would be healed soon. When she was found, she was
motionless, but she could walk on her feet. She was not completely dying which I was very happy
about. At first she was lethargic (not being able to move actively), but now after being checked
by the vet, she waved her tail and played around in the park with a friend. She really loved belly
rubs and when she got better in health, somebody has already decided to adopt her.



In today's MBL game between the Angels and the White Sox, Shohei Ohtani hit two home runs
just in the presence of Luis Robert Jr. (ranking 2nd in hitting home runs). He hit 27th and 28th homers
which surprised lots of fans who gathered at the Anaheim Stadium. This morning he was the starting
pitcher, so he must have been very tired. But when he looks at the pitcher of the opposit team, he
becomes a very scary monster looking quite different from his calm smiling face.
　During today's game I was worried that the Angels would not be able to get more runs, which often
happened when Shohei Ohtani was a starting pitcher. When the White Sox got a run, I was really afraid
that Shohei couldn't become the winning pitcher this time again. And then nobody expected one more
homer from Shohei's surprising bat. What a job he did! He stopped pitching when his team was leading
the White Sox by the score of 4-1, because he had a trouble with his finger nail. It was broken again.
When the closer Carlos Estevez (30) took the mound, he didn't have a good condition and got 4
successive hits. I was extremely worried that the White Sox was going to win the game after defeat
seems certain. But at last the Angels won the game by 4-2, which made me feel relieved.

　Congratulations, Shohei, on your seventh winning game! I was really surprised to see the two homers
you hit today, but it was only too natural because you were a monster. You might be an alien from the
outer space. "The rumor is spreading," many people say. Is that true? Are you going home someday?



The man from the rescue group found the little boy on the small island in the river. He was
all wet, which means he had been carried there by river stream. He was lucky not to be drowned.
He looked fine because he had a good appetite. They all went home after that and soon they had
a bath time. He loved being rinsed with warm water. And the man shampooed him very well. He
had lots of fleas that he should get rid of before going to the vet clinic. He got every medical check
at the clinic and turned to be in complete shape. How could anyone throw him away by the side
of the river without any food and water? I can't believe that people could become so cruel.

Maybe nobody knows how and why this happened to the little girl. She's a Pomwranian, only
4 years old. When the rescue people met her first, she was very much afraid and snarled at them
a little. They took time to comfort her and finally she allowed them to carry her to the vet clinic.
The vet X-rayed her body and noticed that her pelvis was broken. That was why she couldn't
walk properly. If she was about 4 years old, is it possible for her pelvis to heal completely? I felt
really sorry for her when I saw her changing into a cheerful girl wagging her tail. Someone must
have treated her cruelly, but she was kind enough to start trusting people again. What faithful
animals dogs are! What cruel animals humans are! She had almost lost much of her fur, but it
was growing back again very beautifully. I'm sure she'll get back her hope again. God bless her.

Yesterday Shohei Ohtani really became a hero who got his 7th winning game. He also hit two
homers which surprised many fans. He was a starting pitcher and a home run king. It usually is
quite difficult for a left-handed batter to hit a home run into the gallery between left and center,
but for Shohei it's a piece of cake. Most pitchers try to beat Shohei by throwing outside, but he's
good at hitting the outside pitch into the left gallery, or into the gallery between left and center.
Actually he's a pain in the ass for most pitchers in the Major League Baseball. A trouble-making
monster that most of the MLB pitchers can hardly deal with. Shohei usually makes good results
on the next day when he started pitching. That's today. Is he going to become a hero again?

I'm now watching the MBL game between the Angels and the White Sox. On top of the 1st
inning, Luis Robert Jr. hit a two-run homer very easily. He's also a great batter, I think. At the
bottom of the 1st inning, both Ohtani and Trout hit triples and tied the White Sox. However the
starting pitcher for the Angels, Jaime Barria (26) is no good and he gave two more home runs
to the opposite team. Now the White Sox lead by 4-2. I'm sorry to say this, but the pitches
the Panamanian throws are not very difficult to hit. Now the White Sox lead by 5-2. In his
second at-bat, Ohtani was struck out. All the fans for the Angels are not excited this morning.
　The starting pitcher Barria already left the mound and now Andrew Wantz is a relief pitcher.
However he gave a 2-base hit and all the three runners came home adding three more runs.
Now the White Sox lead by 8-2. Hey, I fell no chances for the Angels to make a hit.
　Now they're into the 7th inning. The White Sox lead by 9-2. At the bottom of the 6th inning,
Ohtani got struck out again. What're they doing? Don't they want to proceed to the post season?

Now I'm gradually making it a rule to take a late-afternoon walk for about half an hour. I haven't
done that for more than a week, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it my important routine. I'm
not accustomed to keep doing the same thing almost every day. I'm a hesitating type of a guy.
I want to be a decisive guy who would be respected by many people around me.
　Anyway do you think a late-afternoon walk will do any good to me? Just half and hour's walk
is good enough for me to lose weight? Losing weight is very effective for treating diabetes. But
I almost weight the same every morning. Do I have to decrease the amount of food I eat for each
meal? It's even more difficult than taking a 30-minute walk every afternoon.

Tomorrow morning at about a few minutes past 5:00, the Angels are going to have a game with
the White Sox. It's going to be the last game out of the 4 successive games. If the Angels want
to fight in the post season, they have to win the game for certain. Ohtani's trading or transfer is
just one problem, and whether the team can go on to the post season is quite another. Even if
Shohei Ohtai has to play in another team for the next season, everybody including his fans have
to feel happy that he's in good health and has a new place where he could do his best. The Angels
have to wake themselves up and stop depending on someone special. Baseball is a team sport. Now
is the time for the team when they've got to hit Ohtani's best pitches. That's the destiny they have.

SNS could be very convenient, but I can't tell one from another. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
TikTok, Line, and so on. Now I'm interested in Facebook and Line. I don't know how good they
are, though. Especially about Facebook, I don't know how I should adjust the privacy levels. Is
my English correct about talking about Facebook? Well, it seems convenient but difficult.

It's just 5:00 in the morning and the very important baseball game is going to start soon. I'm
interested in the number of home runs that Shohei Ohtani will hit from now on, but I'm more
interested in his batting average. Now his is 0.309 ranking 4th in the American League. If he makes
a few hits in today's game, that would be very fine.

　It's now on top of the 5th inning and the White Sox leads the Angels by 7-5. You may be surprised
hear this, but Ohtani got struck out in the first and second at-bats. But his third at-bat turned out
to be an intentional walk. Very surprising, isn't it? An intentional walk after two strikeouts! Let him
swing, and the pitcher will get another strikeout in today's game? A home run next time? Are you
making me stupid? He's a great player, but he's not a superman who came from outer space.



I predicted a strikeout for Ohtani's last at-bat, but I made a very, very big mistake. To tell the
truth, I expected something great from him. He didn't betray my expectation. Finally at the bottom
of the 9th inning, with Trout on the first base, Shohei Ohtani hit is 29th home run! Though his team
couldn't win today's game, he did a great job, which was quite impressive for all the baseball fans.
In today's game he got 2 strikeouts, 1 intentional walk, and lastly 1 big home run. Maybe his batting
average didn't go down after today's game. However I'd like to say to the other members of the
Angels. When you have a chance, try hard to take it. We don't want you to show us easy performances.
Shohei Ohtani seized a great opportunity at last. That's where you're different from Ohtani.



After watching this video I could understand the history of Paw Squadron. It's been acting for
about a year. Now a lot of supporters all around the world are helping them financially. I've also
heard the name "DoDo," because I've seen some videos they made so far. I didn't know it was
such a big association for rescuing animals. I hope from now on they'll both deliver as many videos
as possible so that we might know a lot more about tragedies many animals are concerned with.

If I remember correctly, today's the special day for public servants to get bonus. The TV news
said that this year they were going to get a little more money than usual. It's true that I feel jealous
because I can't get paid. "Don't be too jealous. You can't get money, but you can get a rest instead."
This is what someone in the heaven would say to me, I believe. Yes, money's not everything. I know
it's something very important, but we can be happy in some way or other. If I wait a little longer,
I'll be able to see Hana and Ryoma again at the foot of the "Rainbow Bridge." I'll be very happy
then. Happiness is something that both people and animals feel in different ways. Smile now and
forget about your friends' big bonus. Oh, I forgot to buy Loto 7 today. OK, be sure and get one
next week. The Loto 7 that I got last week didn't make me a winner. Maybe next time.

What're they doing? Shohei Ohtani hit his 30th home run, a very big one that flied as far as a
little more than 150 meters. But what's happened to other members? Nothing to do to help their
starting pitcher Griffin Canning (27)? Trout made two hits, but the clean-up Anthony Rendon couldn't
do anything to rescue the pitcher. He makes a surprising sum of money, but he often appears in the
injured list, and today he's just come back from the latest list. I don't think we need him on the team.

　Well, animal rescue videos are much more interesting that the MLB games. Ohtani and Trout are
very different. In today's video the little girl looked sad when she first met the rescuer. Maybe she
felt lonely withour her mother beside her. She must have been hungry, but she needed more love
than food or water. But very luckily she had a cute company in the car. His name was Tommy and
he fell in love in her in the spot. When she got home, she took a warm shower. The rescuer said that
she loved both a shower and belly cuddles. Then she went to the vet and was found nothing wrong
with her health. Now she's dreaming of having a new home who would love and cherish her.



After Shohei nobody's going to do anything effective. Some batters just watch the pitches, and others
hit the balls quite easily. Why is this? They've been practicing hard to hit the balls? They should ask Shohei
how to do their best to practice baseball. I wanted to cheer for the Angels, but they're worthlless.
　I can easily guess that they're having a hard time to be of great help of their team. However what do
you think is most important when they try to make a good use of the opportunity? It's their technique as
good batters? Yes, half of it is true. But it's more important for them to fight the pitcher of the other team.
They have to win the fight mentally, not physically. I think Shohei is great in doing that. He always try to
stay calm, and fight the pitcher of the opposite team. He also has to fight the sluggers of the other team.
He's always trying to do the two great jobs. Why can't his teammates do their best in batting?



Some people say that Shohei is a genius, but actually he's a man of hard work. There's a famous
saying which goes,"There is no genius that bests hard work." Of course he's such a talented guy,
which nobody can deny. Today's his home run went as far as 150.3 meters into the right bleachers.
They say there has been only 15 batters who could hit the ball more than 150 meters so far.

It was raining all this morning. According to the weather forecast, it should have stopped raining
in the afternoon, but it hasn't stopped completely now. It's like a sprinkling rain, not so hard. I
didn't go for a walk today too. I'm not willing to walk outside, especially for a long walk. That's why
I'm not losing weight. I know it's no good not to do a lot of exercises for my diabetes to get better.
　But I've just been shopping at the nearby drugstore. I felt that it was going to start raining hard,
so I didn't take the risk of walking to the farther supermarket. I didn't have my umbrella with me.
I bought a pack of minced meat and a net of onions mainly. I'm going to cook fried eggs tonight.

Shohei Ohtani hit his 30th home run in today's game, but the Angels lost the game. The Arizona
Diamondbacks are very strong. This season they're ranked top in the National League West
Division. So I don't think the Angels that don't have many talented players wouldn't be able to
win tomorrow's game. What I expect most is Shohei Ohtani's great hits including his 31st home run.
For the Angels to win or lose is not what I'm interested in. Do your best and have a good game.
Run fast to the first base, try to hit the first strike, try to do a good job to help the pitcher, and do
as many things as possible until the game is over. You're not Shohei, so you don't have to hit a
home run. Never come back to the dugout after an easy strike-out.

The little girl was abandoned in the dangerous highway. She was very much scared, so when
she got into the car, she didn't drink any water. Maybe she was thirsty, but too nervous to drink
water. When she came home with the rescuer, she had to take a warm shower immediately, because
she was so dirty. Now that she was all cleaned up, she looked like a princess in a fairy tale. She
was now such a beautiful girl. The next day she went to the vet and the doctor found nothing wrong
about her health. Drinking no water was not a sign of her sickness. I felt relieved.

The size of data of this English diary page is getting bigger and bigger. When it's over 100 kilobits.
Now it's about 84 kilobits. Well, I'm now more interested in the baseball game between the Angels
and the Diamondbacks. Now the Diamondbacks lead by 3-1. They're such a good team, I think. They
don't have Trout, Ohtani, or Rendon on their team, but they know how to get as many runs as they
can. At last they win. In today's game so far, Trout was struck out twice, Ohtani twice too, and of
course Rendon once, although he hit a precious home run after about two months.



She was hiding under the abandoned plane. That's why she was protected by other big dogs
who would like to hurt her. After a while she became more and more friendly, so the rescuer
took her back home. On the way they paid a visit to the vet clinic and she was found to be in
good shape. After they got home, the rescuer let her take a warm shower and she became so
clean and was a beautiful girl. She's such a beauty that she'll find a good family soon.

In today's game the Angels lost against the Diamondbacks by 1-3. Shohei Ohtani coudn't do
any good jobs. In the last 9th inning Scott Mcgough (33) took the mound and pitched against
Shohei Ohtani. He hit a very strong grounder, but it didn't reach the outfield. Do you remember
his name? He did so many great jobs for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in Japan until 2022.



　I felt a little bit happy that Mcgough succeeded in closing the game. He didn't pitched against
Ohtani who had already been over the Pacific Ocean to become a monster batter in the MLB.
In today's game he did great pitching, which must have made his friends back in Japan.

Late this afternoon, I took a walk as usual. But this time I measured the time I took for the walk.
It was about 40 minutes, which was a little longer than I had expected. I thought it was about half
an hour's walk. Toward the end of my walk, I met a foreigner who was walking his dog. I asked him
if his dog was he or she. He was not interested in me, but he was just looking at the Shiba dog who
was walking toward us. I didn't ask the boy's name, but I was happy that I talked to a person from
abroad using English. Speaking English is such fun for me who used to be an English teacher at
school. Usually when I don't have much time to talk to foreign people, my English deteriorates and
it needs to be brushed up. However my situation was different this time. English words were
coming out of my mouth very smoothly, maybe because I make it a rule to write in my diary in
both English and Japanese every day. It helps me remember how to speak English fluently.

　After taking a walk, I went shopping at the supermarket Sotetsu Rosen and the drugstore Create.
I did some shopping and it cost me about a little more than \3,500 totally. I think I should make it
less next time I go shopping there. It means I'm one of the poor if I spend too much money on
food and drinks. I know that, but every time I go shopping, I tend to buy a lot because I'm a big
eater. A Japanese famous saying goes like this: "When you're hungry, you can't go shopping." I
agree. But I'm not in a financially satisfied situation, I'll try not to buy lots food and drinks.



This is the second half of the video about the poor girl who was abandoned cruelly. They
named her Hope, maybe because they wanted her not so lose hope in the future. She had a
terrible trouble, so she had to take a few medical showers, which made her really beautiful.
Now she could play with her dolls and talk to her adult friends walking outside. The vet did
surgery on her and the scar on her belly was now getting healed rapidly. Somebody on the
rescue team once said in the video that what stray dogs needed most was of course love.
Because they have never been loved by others, not even by their parents or siblings.

In the middle of May, I asked the bank to do transfer procedures from my bank account to
the accout of the mutual relief association. The transfer date is the 25th every month, but when
I checked my smart phone, I couldn't find any trace of transfer. Didn't they receive my payment
by the limited day? If not, is my health insurance card going to be invalid this month? It's a very
big problem for me, because I have to see my doctors at the hospital at the end of this month.
I can't pay the whole money I need for consultation and medications. It will cost me more than
\100,000, I suppose. Anyway I'll have to wait until everything is found out.

There was MBL baseball games this morning too. The Angels fought against the Diamondbacks
and finally won by the score of 5-2. In the first three at-bats Shohei Ohtani couldn't do any good
jobs, but in his 4th at-bat, he hit his 31 home run which surprised all the fans at the stadium. It
flew as far as 138 meters, which was big enough to make all the fans happy. I was happy too.
　It will be certain that Ohtani is going to be this season's home run king. And maybe he's not
going to take part in the home run derby held on the previous day of the All-Star Game. Shohei
could play in the game both as a pitcher and a batter. He'll be there as a two-way player. I don't
expect anything more from him, like hitting a home run or so.



　Shohei Ohtani will pitch in the second game with San Diego Padres. It will be played on July 5,
which is Shohei's 29th birthday. At first he was planning to be a starting pitcher on July 4. But
his nail of the middle finger of the right hand split when they fought against the White Sox on June
27, so expending his next pitching by one day would be of great help. Yu Darvish is on the Padres,
but he's not going to pitch for any of the three successive games with the Angels. Will it be possible
for Shohei to make his 8th winning game on his memorable birthday? I really hope so.

Do you think it's a good idea to go for an evening walk although the cloudy skies show that it
might start raining? Without carrying an umbrella with me? By the way, I'm now watching a TV show
to decide the biggest female eater of all. Someone once said that when there are many poor kids
who can't eat enough every day, it's no good to have a TV show like this. I agreed to the opinion,
so I've been away from these TV shows for a while. But I changed my mind and start watcing the
TV show again. Because eating food with plenty of thanks is quite different from looking down on
something to eat. Anyway Japan is a peaceful country to welcome many contestants like them. I
was thinking of putting some photos of the eating contest, but I didn't. Basically I'm against the
idea of deciding the biggest eater in Japan. If hungry kids watch the show, they'll be very sorry.

When did I start editing my website? I don't remember exactly when I got interested in building
a homepage. Maybe it was when I opened my own language school at home. I had to let as many
people as possible know about my school. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on advertisingn my
English conversation school. It was a good idea to edit a homepage to advertise my private school.
However I gradually understood how difficult it was to make my school more and more attractive,
and how complicated it was to make an attracive homepage. It's so difficult for you to invite a lot
of people to your website without spending much money. I'd never been to a homepage building
school to know techniques to make an attractive homepage. Even now I've got a lot of things to
learn how to make a better website. It's so interesting a job, but it's not an easy job to accomplish.
How long am I going to keep on doing this? I'm not sure, but as long as possible hopefully. I hope
lots and lots of people come and visit my website and enjoy the various pages it has.





Garden Mikan is always very active. When two of the four "Little Pups," who were born on Milan's
first delivery, Tomato and Matsuba, were adopted by other families, I still didn't understand what kind
of a man Daddy was. Why was he taking care of Shiba dogs? He might have been just a breeder and
was willing to send out the babies to gain money. But gradually I understood he was not such a bad
guy who just thought of his living. I knew that, because the two adopted girls, Tomato and Matsuba,
often came and visit Garden Mikan. He was such a warm-hearted guy. I soon sent an email and asked
him to let me use his videos for my website, and since then I've been loving Garden Mikan. But when
he accepted the black Shiba Ringo, I didn't know why. It was what he had wanted for a long time,
then how could other people say anything about his decision.

　The last photo, down right, was Shotaro who was born about a year ago, on June 3, 2022. The date
written on the photo was "Day 0 After Birth," which means that he was just born on that day when
the precious photo was taken. From that day on, Mikan tried hard to be a good mother. Enwrapped
with her deep love, Shotaro grew up to be a calm and gentle boy. Because he was born alone and
could drink Mama's milk as much as he wanted, he was now a very big boy. Actually he has a nice
figure like his brother Chataro. He'll be bigger someday, I suppose.

Today's America's Independence Day. In Japan it's just the title given to a very famous movie
and maybe not many people know about the history of the United States. This is the day when the
greatest country in the world was born on the earth.
　Well, that's not the main topic that I wanted to talk about at this time of the day. Now, it's 2:32 a.m.
As usual I could sleep well and got out of bed to turn on the computer. I was just checking my website.
Then I found that one of the photos I used for the webpage wasn't there. I tried to preserve the page
a few times, but it didn't work. At that time I suddenly came to an idea that the name for the photo
could be a problem. I mean that every file which is uploaded to the website has to be given an English
name. I checked the troublemaking photo and found that the name was Japanese. This time I tried
to change the name into English. I was happy to see that it really worked fine. Now the photo's there.
Who wants to try to solve a problem on the homepage at 2:30 in the morning? I'm getting sleepy.
Does that mean that God has helped me go to sleep easily this time? I've got to say thank you.



The puppy in the video was to be euthanized, but he was rescued from a garbage heap. This
happened in a small town in South Africa in April, 2019. He was rescued and protected by a gentle
woman. He seemed about 9 weeks old. A week before this the previous owner wanted a mercy
killing, but somehow he was abadoned in the pile of garbage. The owner might have changed his
mind. He was able to live, but he was having a hard time fighting the coldness, hunger, and loneliness.
Out of this terrible situation, it was a woman named Rachel. The puppy was called Gunner.

　I hate the words "mercy killing," because there is no sense of mercy in that. How could you kill
innocent puppies just because you don't need them? The boy thanked Rachel for coming to him
to rescue him. That's why he brought her a precious piece of bread. It was the only food he had,
but he really thanked her for rescuing him. He had no other way to show his thanks to the woman.
He must have been starving. If you were him, do you think you could give the only bread left?

Which is the smartest idea, "Human beings are supported by dogs," or "Dogs need human
beings to live," or "Human beings and dogs should live together helping each other."? I think
they're all good ideas to show our relationship. "Dogs and human beings are good friends," someone
said. I think it's also true. Our relationship should not be a one-way ticket, but a round-trip ticket.
I also think it's unfair that dogs can understand what we think or how we feel, but that we can't
understand what they think or how they feel.

　I was shocked to see many poor puppies in many sad videos. How could human beings treat them
cruelly? When you look into their innocent eyes, you'll be able to understand that they really need
your help. I'm glad to know that there are also good people who are willing to help them start living
a better life. There are good people and bad people as well in this world. Some young parents are
killing their children. Is it really possible for people to kill their own babies? Don't they feel anything
when they see their kids stop breathing? If they feel nothing to kill their children, how could they
become warm-hearted people and help poor puppies? Something's wrong with today's world.

　There are many good people who would like to help stray puppies. Even if they're hungry, they
won't eat themselves first, but they try to give something to eat to those stray dogs. They're just
like most human mothers. Some cruel people abandon little dogs along the country roads or into
the piles of garbage without leaving any food or water. If you were an abandoned puppy and had
nothing to eat or drink, how would you feel or what would you do? Even so, maybe you'd like to
keep living. Because animals never think of killing themselves. They know they have to live.



It was a very long video that I've been watching so far. According to the interview, Shohei
Ohtani finds it quite difficult to act as a two-way player, both physically and mentally. He thinks
that he'll continue to be a two-way player until he feels it's too hard. He's thinking of becoming
a great batter when he has to stop pitching. Every pitcher understand that after being a starting
pitcher, they have to take a good rest until they're fine. But Shohei never takes a rest to stop
playing and keep standing in the batter's box. Maybe he never complains about being a hard-working
player, but now that we saw the video we know how hard it is to be a two-way player. He's supposed
to pitch in tomorrow's game with the Padres. Will he be a great pitcher or a great batter? Or both?
